$20 pp or you can use your concession card.

Medal Tests are the ideal way to set yourself a goal and ensure you improve the quality of your dancing.

We run two medal tests a year. An examiner is invited from the 'New Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers to examine the candidates. You receive comments on how to improve your technique and feedback on the positive aspects of your dancing. Having passed the exam you also receive a certificate, medal and your marks/comments sheet.

On the day, you can dance with your favourite partner or with one of the Stepz Teachers, so you are in good hands.

Venue

Cornwall Park School Hall, Wheturangi Rd, Greenlane, Auckland.

The order of medals is as follows:

Social Medals - These can be a mixture of Ballroom and Latin Dances
• 2 Dance Social Badge - Following a Beginner Social Course
• 3 Dance Social Badge - Following an Intermediate Social Course
• 4 Dance Social Badge - Following an Advanced Social Course

International Technique Medals - These medals are in either Latin or Ballroom
• Bronze Medal - 2 Dances
• Bronze Bar - 3 Dances
• Silver Medal - 3 Dances
• Silver Bar - 4 Dances
• Gold Medal - 4 Dances
• Gold Cross - 5 Dances
• 1st Gold Bar - 5 Dances
• 2nd Gold Bar - 5 Dances
• Oscar - 5 Dances

Once you have danced you are free to leave. You receive your results at class the following week.
